What process do you use to complete a project? Before beginning any project, I will spend time communicating with you to find out exactly what you are looking for. If you don’t know exactly what you are looking for, I will give you ideas and possibilities. Then, I will conduct the appropriate research and write an outline for your approval to make sure we are working on the same page. From there, I will write a draft to submit it to my clients for approval again. After that the project is open to revisions as needed.

How much do you charge for a project? I generally make flat rate quotes for projects once I get the details of what the client is looking for. This flat rate includes a written statement of work that descibes the scope, topic and purpose of the project along with a description of what the rate includes (i.e. phone calls for consultations and interviews, research times, revisions, etc.).

How long does the project take? This all depends on the type, scope and topic of the product. When I give fee quotes for projects, I also include a timeframe for completing the project.

What do I need to do to hire you? Call or email me with the description of what you are looking for. I will then work up a quote and get back to you as soon as possible. I do require a 50% down payment for most projects with the balance due upon submission of the final product. For projects totaling over $500, I work out a payment schedule involving a smaller down payment and several milestones/deadlines throughout the duration of the project.

How will I be able to contact you during the project? I am available via email and phone throughout the duration of the project. Often times, an entire project can be completed via email if the client prefers.
